We celebrated St. Patrick's Day yesterday with our usual corn beef and cabbage, etc. Absolutely yum. The O'Bradleys came to help us celebrate. And because I was short on eggs and had to use them for our cake (green of course) I made soda bread. Absolutely delicious. Used our little sppon we bought when in Ireland for the Grey Poupon which was the perfect addition to our table. Note, the Shamrocks on the table is from the same plant that has been in the O'Baird family for over 25 years. Hearty little bugger. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all. Not quite sure why we celebrate with such fervor - wasn't he the guy that chased all the serpents out of Ireland??? But any cause for celebration is always on our agenda. Love to one and all....
