Jeremy sent me an email encouraging me to "try this again" so here I am.I am NOT good at this folks. Couldn't even remember my sign in name. Hmmm. Maybe my gray matter is failing me... Oh, I already knew that was the case. At anyrate, after changing my sign in name to something I will never forget (cough, cough) I am back in business - as it were. Thanks Kerri for the tutorial. Couldn't have accomplished "adding on" without her assist. Okay, so I am a blogger dummy. But give me time.
For those of you who knew Lucile Richards (yes, this is the correct spelling - I have misspelled her name since I met her), we attended her funeral on Saturday. Far too long of a funeral, but absolutely wonderful nonetheless. Remember kids: when I die I do not want a pink casket (she didn't) just a reminder on my part, nor do I want a l o n g and d r a w n o ut funeral. Cut to the chase and send me on my way. Besides I don't think there will be much to say in my behalf other than I exaggerated a lot (so Dad remindsme) and I was overly dramatic. But hey, somebody has got to add "color" to this dull world.
At anyrate, one of the things that truly touched me was the truest fact about cute Lucile. And that was she was a woman without guile. Oh, what a beautiful commentary on one's life. We should all strive to be without guile - end of sermon. There were so many cute stories about her. Did you know that she and her husband raised cows right where the Timpanogos Temple is? No wonder the grass is so beautiful around that Temple, eh?
"West Side Story" closed last night. Dad did a spectacular job as Doc. Believable and memorable. I was really proud of him and he looked and sounded great. I haven't done a show for two years, can you believe it??? Starting to wonder if I was ever on the stage after all. Then when I reflect on some of the shows I have had the opportunity to do, I think I have had some mighty fine roles - just can't quite believe I did them!!!!
Looking forward to going to Kerri's to welcome her new baby girl. She will be grandbaby #14. Of course we have the cutest and most remarkable grandchildren ever born. To be HONEST, I must say they are a mighty fine brood. How fun it is to see your children grown up, producing families of their own - and best of all rearing them well and in the Gospel. Quite a legacy. It makes me happy all the time.
Have a happy day everybody.

You're welcome for the assist. Promise no pink casket! And no exaggerations needed!! Maybe no shows are due to us kids having babies when the shows run eh??? Glad dad had fun being Doc, bet he was super cute! We are super excited for your arrival!
Dude, when you're dead, you don't get to choose your colors. I'm going to start a "Pink-Casket-For-Mommy" fund so we can secure some color and excitement. We'll make sure to get you some pink lipstick too.
Sorry, that last one by Corinne was really me. Didn't want you to think Corinne was calling you dude.
