It has been awhile...

Life is good. Let's see. What has happened since my last post. Ah yes. Got a new driver's license because I had another birthday... Bad photo. Who is that old lady in the picture??? Celebrated my birthday doing three shows that day. Exhausting. But got to truly celebrate after I recovered...Jeremy and Jenny had birthdays too, but they are both still looking mighty fine. We do have gorgeous children. Closed "The Foreigner" after 44 performances. A great run. Went to Las Vegas with our four kids to celebrate Jenny's birthday and had a fantastic time. Thanks to all the spouses who held down the forts and took care of the grandchildren so we could have this bonding time together. Great hotel for the female sector. Saw "KA" - unbelievable... Let's do it again. spouses included this time - just need to find willing baby sitters for all them grandchillin. Celebrated (even if we weren't with them) 6 family birthday's in March. Witness the aftermath on TV about the 8.9 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Still praying for those dear people caught in such devastation. Celebrated and celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Made and delivered lots of loaves of yummy homemade soda bread. Had the opportunity to spend a day shooting still shots for a Church Humanitarian project. The voice overs are scheduled for tomorrow!!! Welcomed Diane Teichert home from her mission in the Marshall Islands and got to be with lots of fun people (including the Baird and Bradley families) at Diane's lovely home. Toured "The Steak House" - a new venture of John's ("Dankeshein"). The old Dad had cataract surgery and I have become the eyedrop queen. Had lots of snow during the month. Heard we should make a trip to LV to catch the Barry Manalow show... Managed to get stuck in the unplowed driveway up at Sundance - had to dig out with a shovel. Couldn't go up or down the driveway. Was it the dumb female driver or the unplowed drive way???? Hmmm... Had house guests from Sweden for a few days. Two of our UT grandkids are currently radio stars. Great job. Our dear Friend Jean turned 90! And that was no April 1 joke!!! Had lunch with one of Dad's old students Stephanie Langley Palmer. Drove to Idaho to attend another grandsons baptism. Super fun. Stayed in a two bedroom hotel room with the Bradleys and ate ourselves to oblivion both days with a feast of a breakfast. YUM. Got to go to a Temple session with our oldest daughter at the Boise Temple. Gorgeous Temple. Wonderful experience. Got to go to the Las Vegas Temple with our son too a short time back. So fun to see him look so official as a Temple worker. Wow. Boggled my mind. Such a spectacular Temple. The Temple is a special place - each and every one. Love the Temple. Love baptisms. Had another grandson baptized last January. I am always so moved by watching that sacred ordinance. Still remember the thrill of my baptism June 14, 1958! And I was a bit older that 8 when that happened. It is the best to know your grandchildren and children are doing what is right and living the gospel. Waiting for the Dad and the dog to come home. Scruffy got to be at his favorite doggy hotel whilst we were gone. He loves it there. They love him and spoil him rotten. Don't even cage him during the day. He gets to be with the receptionists in the waiting room and wander as he pleases. Told you he was spoiled. The 8th of this month we will celebrated the 2nd year of his joining our family. He may be big, stinky sometimes, and even a little naughty when he runs away, but he is loyal and a good friend and companion nonetheless.

So there you have it. No pictures, nothing exciting, just good times. Life is good.
